Service
This particular service relies heavily
on customer participation prior to the arrival of the service technician. Follow
the outline below to ensure the best results.
Treatment Preparations
Before the
Service
o
All bedding
materials and pillows should be removed from the bed and sealed in plastic
trash bags until you can wash or dry them
o
Any sheets,
pillows and clothes stored under the bed or in a dresser where bed bug activity
is suspected should be washed in soap and hot water. Items that cannot be
washed need to be dried on high heat 30 minutes. Please read washing
instructions on clothes to prevent damage to your clothing.
o
Vacuum seams of
mattress (both sides). Stand mattress against wall. Do the same for box
springs.
o
Headboards that
are bolted to the wall, wall hangings and pictures fasted to the walls must be
removed from the wall and left in the room for treatment. Electrical fixtures
should not be removed.
o
Drapes should be
bagged before moving from the infested room. They will need to be dried on high
heat for 30 minutes.
o
Night stand items
should be inspected and bagged in plastic bags.
o
After treatment,
allow 2-4 hrs for treatment dry time before re-entering the room.
After the initial treatment, it is recommended that a follow-up be
performed in 2 weeks and a 2nd follow-up in another 2 weeks.
