HOW TO HELP CONTROL SCORPIONS - There are ways to help control scorpions even if
you are using a pest control service. The first strategy is to modify areas around your house.
- Remove all trash, logs, boards, stones, brick and other objects from around your
home.
- Keep grass mowed near the home. Prune bushes and any branches that hang over
your home.
- Store garbage containers in a rack to keep them off the ground.
- When bringing firewood inside the house, make sure it goes straight into the fire.
- Replace weather stripping around doors and windows if needed.
- Caulk around pipes and any other areas in the home where you find cracks.
- Make sure window screens fit tight around windows and that screen doors close tightly.
